What cookies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. This notice describes the current POWISER website operated by PWHK Limited. Last updated: 27 October 2026. We currently use only cookies needed for form security, administrator functions and a language preference you explicitly select; no cookie consent banner is displayed because we do not enable optional tracking cookies.
Language preference: site_language
Set only when you manually switch language. Stores en or zh for 365 days and takes priority on the website entry page. Without a saved preference, a browser whose first preferred language is Chinese opens Chinese; other languages open English. This first-party preference cookie is not used for tracking. Deleting it restores browser-language selection. Explicit language URLs continue to open their specified language.
Form security: csrftoken
Purpose: helps prevent another website from submitting a form on your behalf. Set when you open a page with a protected form, such as Support or the administrator login page. First-party, necessary for form security. Default lifetime: 364 days from setting or renewal; it may be renewed when forms are used. The public homepage does not itself set this cookie on a fresh visit.
Administrator session: sessionid
Purpose: maintains an authenticated administrator session. Used for administrator sign-in, not to track public visitors. First-party, necessary for access to the administration area. Default lifetime: 14 days; logging out invalidates the session. You do not need an administrator session to browse product pages or submit a public inquiry.
Administrator feedback: messages
Purpose: temporarily carries a confirmation or error notice after an administrator action, such as saving a draft. First-party functional cookie used only when needed for that feedback. It is normally cleared after the message is displayed and otherwise has browser-session duration. Large messages may be stored in the administrator session instead.
No analytics or advertising cookies
The current version does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising trackers or third-party embedded videos. Page URLs identify the language; a functional cookie remembers a language you manually select. We do not use browser local storage or session storage for tracking. If optional technologies are added later, we will update this notice and obtain consent before activation where required, with a way to refuse and change the choice.
Your browser controls
You can inspect, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent forms or administrator sign-in from working.
